Verre Au Pied

Polymer Glazings

'Verre Au Pied’ is a research into the properties of different polymers holding up high a porcelain bowl.

'Polymer Glazings' is a series of works concentrating on interactions between clay (earth) and polymers (plastic). Central to these work is an exploration of plastics as a new type of ceramic source material, scattered as polymers are today across the earth's surface. In the heat of the ceramic kiln, polymer disposables melt together with clay or other classic materials, coming to new ceramic form.
